Arrival and Reception at the Campsite

What are the arrival times at the campsite?
Low season: arrival times from 3 pm until 6 pm. High season: (July-August) for pitches from 2:30 pm and for rentals from 4 pm until 8 pm.

What are the departure times?
For departures in rentals: no later than 10 am (time slot reservation for the final inspection to be arranged with reception). For departures in pitches no later than 12 noon.

Can we arrive even if the reception is closed?
Yes, it’s possible. In the case of a late arrival, it is necessary to inform the reception desk at 05.65.46.88.18.

What are the reception’s opening hours?
In the low season, the reception is open every day from 9 am to 12 noon and from 2 pm to 6 pm. In the high season, we welcome you every day from 9 am to 12:30 pm and from 2:30 pm to 8 pm. And during the winter period, there is a presence from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 12 noon and from 2 pm to 6 pm.

Reservations and Payments

Is it necessary to make a reservation?
Yes, for rentals, reservations are even mandatory and the full payment must be made in the month preceding the arrival.

Can we pay for the stay upon arrival?
No, for the balance of the stay, the total amount must be paid 30 days before your arrival. (Except for pitches where payment can be made on site.)

Do you accept ANCV holiday vouchers?
Of course, you can send them to us as shown on the photo, by mail to the following address: Camping Les Terrasses du Lac, Route du Vibal, La Souquette, 12290 PONT-DE-SALARS.

Are you accredited by Vacaf?
Yes, we are accredited by Vacaf, please approach our offices with your beneficiary number to get a quote.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, I have to cancel my reservation, how does it work?
When you make a reservation, you can take out cancellation insurance (Septeo) which will allow for a refund. For all information, please contact our offices. If you have not subscribed to this insurance, then no refund will be possible.

Services and Amenities at the Campsite

Can we have Wifi access?
Yes, you have free Wi-Fi access throughout the campsite.

Do you have washing machines at the campsite?
Yes, you have access to 2 washing machines and 2 dryers on the campsite, available 7/7 days and 24/24 hours, operating with coins and including detergent.

What is the nearest village?
The nearest village is Pont-de-Salars, 3-4 km away with all shops.

Activities and Leisure

When is the swimming pool open?
The swimming pool is open from June 1st to September 15th, and from 10:30 am to 8 pm.

What swimwear is allowed in the pool?
Only traditional swimsuits are allowed. Swimming shorts or any other non-compliant clothing are strictly prohibited for hygiene reasons and in compliance with national regulations.

Is the swimming pool heated?
The swimming pool, the water slides, and the paddling pool of the pirate ship are heated.

Are there any activities planned at the campsite?
During the summer period (from July 1st to August 31st), activities are organized during the day for children and teenagers and in the evening for family activities.

Can we fish on Lake Pont-de-Salars?
Yes, it is quite possible to fish in the lake, fishing cards are on sale at the reception.

Is there direct access to the lake from the campsite?
No, not within the campsite, but you have two accesses to the lake from the campsite, the first on the left side of the campsite with a gate to reach it and a second one located under the campsite with a pontoon.

Accommodation and Campsite Rules

Are bikes available for rent at the campsite?
No.

Is a television included in the mobile home rental?
No, we have TV rentals available only in some of our mobile homes, at 5€ per day. Please contact our offices to reserve with a television.

Are charcoal barbecues allowed?
No, on the campsite only gas barbecues are allowed, we offer them for rent at 4€ per day. Please approach the reception to reserve a barbecue.

Are dogs allowed on the campsite and in the rentals?
Yes, we accept dogs, except category 1 and 2 dogs which are strictly forbidden. For each animal, a supplement of 5€/day is requested. Upon arrival, we require that it be vaccinated and tattooed, with the presentation of an up-to-date vaccination booklet. Animals must be kept on a leash.

Is the campsite flat?
As its name suggests, Les Terrasses du Lac, the campsite is terraced.
